Building #the Twitter

A year ago my sister expanded her business and we decided to give her a bigger footprint on the ole WWW.  One of the social networks that I built was a Twitter feed.  It was being fed from the information she put on her Facebook page.    The idea was for a very basic feed to help push out her free information about organizing.

My Favorite Conference of the Year #BMAUnleash

Now that all the Pro’s are done or nearly done blogging about the best B2B Conference of this year, I will give it a shot.

For the past 4 years, I have had the pleasure of attending the BMA (Business Marketing Association) National Conference.  This year, it was in one of my favorite cities, Chicago.

My Obsession with foursquare

I was going to call this post, “still waiting”.  I seem to have an odd obsession with foursquare.  I have checked in over 1000 times, added pictures, added “things done”, have battled to be mayor of 12 locations and have 23 badges and ….who cares?  The answer is nobody.

Online Ordering (what are your expectations?)

Recently, I ordered 3 different camera parts from 3 different companies online.

Typically, when I order online, I save the return receipts to “hand in” at the end of the month.  In this case, I found 2 different scenarios.

Winners and Losers, Success and Failure

When does the competition end?

Every day of your life, you face competitive situations, whether it be at work, home or play.

And if you win, someone has to lose, right?

Is it the same with success and failure?

Winning and losing is an absolute, success and failure is subjective.

The great Vince Lombardi said, “Winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing”

He was wrong, and he knew it.  Vince Lombardi was known as a winner because he accepted success even in losing.  He learned his lessons and used them to win, or to succeed to a greater extent.

With success, the wins will come.

Let’s teach success.

Let’s help others succeed.  Contrary to popular belief, someone does NOT have to fail for you to succeed and if someone fails you do not always succeed.

It is important to take the right path to success and wins.

Strive for success, success at it’s highest level, and take the wins when you can.

Super Bowl Sunday

Super Bowl Sunday has come and gone, a great, but unexpected year for a Packer Fan.  After a week 14 loss to the tradition bottom dwellers from Detroit and an injury to our starting quarterback, a game against New England did not look so good.
